Their teams were able to pickup over 4,000 furniture pieces over the course of the year. LoopDeco is proud that over 85% of the furniture picked up was reused through either donation or resale.
LoopDeco began by servicing the Dallas area and has now expanded their service area to include Canton, Tyler, Fort Worth, and Houston, TX. They partnered with local charities and organizations in these areas to ensure that the furniture and other household items picked up reached those in need. As they grew their service area, they saw a big increase in the number of furniture items they were saving from the landfill each month.
They had a number of great partners come on such as Houston Furniture Bank, Exclusive Furniture, and others! These partners helped make it possible to keep most of the furniture in circulation.
2025’s goal: Save more furniture from the landfill
Building on the successful efforts of from 2024, our goals for 2025 are focused on saving even more furniture from ending up in landfills. By expanding our service areas, we hope to pick up over 12,000 furniture pieces in 2025. We also plan to grow our pickup teams to improve our reuse rate for furniture items to over 90% while keeping our furniture removal services affordable for you!
In addition to our pickup service, we will invest in sustainable solutions that can help retailers operate more efficiently and sustainably. We will continue to find nonprofits and charities in local communities to get them the furniture and household items that they need to further their mission in that local community. We will give back through volunteer time and work to make sure our service supports people, communities, small businesses, and the environment.
